RHETORIC:
1: the art of speaking or writing effectively: as
a: the study of principles and rules of composition formulated by critics of ancient times
b: the study of writing or speaking as a means of communication or persuasion
2: a: skill in the effective use of speech
b: a type or mode of language or speech; also insincere or grandiloquent language
3: verbal communication : discourse
OK, that definition comes from Merriam-Webster online dictionary. Let's give some examples of how it is used in Washington D.C. political speeches and far left liberals.
Rhetoric: The United States of America is going broke!
Truth: No, the United States of America is not going broke. The government of the United States of America is going broke. There's plenty of money in the free market place of United States of America. The only place that doesn't operate with the free market place principles, in America, is the government. That institution, the government of the United States of America, is practically a communist entity within a free market society.
Rhetoric: The interest rates for all American will skyrocket if we don't raise the debt ceiling and default on our loans.
Truth: Why should my interest rates go up? I didn't default on this loan. The government did. Why doesn't the interest rates skyrocket for just the institution that is called the government of the United States of America? Then, when the government of the United States of America applies for a loan, again; charge them the new interest rate, but everyone else stays the same. Then the government will ask for more taxes to pay that interest rate, to which we should say: no! You have to figure out how to balance your budget and live within your means.
Rhetoric: We need to tax the rich so they can pay their fair share.
Truth: The poor don't pay taxes at the end of the year. So, between the middle-class and the rich...what is the fair share? Note: Everyone pays taxes at the store, gas pump, and telephones, that doesn't count because in those taxes, it truly is equal.
Rhetoric: The Democrats are for the poor!
Truth: No, the Democrats what the poor to stay poor. That's why they want to give the poor more food stamps; to create a cycle of poverty. Keep them unhappy and get their votes, because the poor are usually not educated and they think in the short-term.
Rhetoric: We need to redistribute the cash to help those who are hurting!
Truth: The amount of cash the government is asking for to do that, billions, is divided by the States and then divided by the people in need (that includes the social workers in the offices where you go to apply, so you don't even get what the full amount of what is given, for you, to the states). When the billions of dollars are divided up by the amount of people that apply for food stamps (after the social workers get their cut) and other things; it's like 20 dollars more in cash and food stamps a month. Guess what? You're still poor! Fatter, but, still poor none-the-less. Still politically unhappy and still blaming the Republicans for the amount of food stamps and cash the Democrats fought to give you. 40 dollars a month more? 100 dollars a month more? Does that really help you get out of the poverty cycle? YOU'RE STILL POOR! Hence, the cycle of poverty continues. The only thing that ends the poverty cycle is an education. The safety nets are GREAT! But, anything more than that is a crime against the drive of the human spirit.
Rhetoric: The Republican hate us!
Truth: They don't hate you. Republican believe in the God given talents of the individual. And they believe that if those God given talents are given the chance to do something in a free society, the sky is the limit for you. The problem is this: you have to develop those talents. What does that mean? School. If you don't go to school, if you don't use your God given talents; the Republicans don't hate you. They don't respect you! Republican hate the Democrats because, through their lies (class-warfare), the Democrats are killing the motivation of the poor to use their God given talents, in a free society, by making the poor become dependent on handouts. Have you noticed that the poor in America are not skinny? Poor Americans are FAT! That comes from a lot of good and bad eating.
Rhetoric: Democrats are the party of the people!
Truth: Democrats are the ones who had the slaves in the South. What's changed? Nothing! They want you to be poor, dumb, and slaves to food stamps and other handouts (they're fighting for you! Plus, they need the cheap labor and can get you a job sweeping and mopping their floors).
Rhetoric: If we were a socialist country, things would be equal!
Truth: No it wouldn't. You would still be poor and uneducated, and at the bottom of food chain, because in socialist countries only those with an education or special talents get treated well. They divide the contributors from the masses. You would be part of the masses, but you wouldn't be fat. You would be skinny.
LOL! What? Not funny? Then why are you Democrat, and not preparing your kids for college from the earliest age?
