This race for Democratic Nomination has to be the best thing that has ever happened to the American public. The timing is in perfect harmony with the condition of our society. Right now we’re living in an age where technology/knowledge is wide spread. Or should I say that our ability to communicate with each other is wide spread. It's mind-boggling! That's what it is. I won’t go into how that is structured. But I will use the structure of how our commincation networking operates to do my part in trying to educate the public, as a whole, in how our political system works. Well, for this article, I’ll be referring to the rules of the Democratic party for nominating their choice to run for the Presidency in November.
There are three segments that have to be addressed to get the nomination for the Democratic Party. That’s the popular vote, the delegates and then the super delegates.
The popular vote is what delegates use to determine whom they will support. Usually it’s no problem because the choice is almost always clear whom the people want. In other words: The popular vote is almost always powerful enough put the stamp of approval for the delegates to do the right thing. Vote for who they say.
With that idea the super delegates have no choice but to go along with what the popular vote mandates. That’s usually based on a candidate getting the required number of delegates to allow the super delegates to make the nomination official at their convention. (This year that's 2024 delegates.)
The beauty of this race is that neither candidate, Clinton nor Obama, has enough left in their campaigns to secure the 2024 delegates required for getting the nomination. What that means is this: It’s up to the super delegates to decide who’ll get the nomination. The popular vote is out. The delegates are out. Without those 2024 delegates, in this case, Obama has no grounds for claiming the right to the nomination just because he has more popular votes and more delegates. That’s why the rules require 2024 delegates. If a neither candidate can secure those 2024 delegates; it’s on the super delegates to make the final choice. That’s why they’re super delegates in the first place. And that's why the super delegate system is used as a last line of logic for determining who’ll get the nomination.
It's because the race is so close that neither candidate was able to secure the 2024 delegates in the primaries to secure the nomination. The securing of the 2024 delegates in the primaries insures that the public has spoken. In a huge nation like America, without those 2024 delegates, the race is too close to call even though Obama seems to be the winner. And no matter what you hear in the National Media, it doesn't matter because the National Media doesn't have a say in the matter, either. The National Media tries to make an arguement for Obama but that's just their spin on a matter that is out of their hands.
Lets make it clear: The popular vote, without those 2024 required delegates, has been neutralized. In other words: The super delegates are not under any obligation to nominate Barrack Obama just because he has an edge in the popular vote and in delegates. These are the rules. This is why the whole concept of super delegates exists. The way this race is playing out is the exact and perfect logic why the super delegates exist.
In a race this close, where neither candidate has the required 2024 delegates, the super delegates have the responsibility to nominate the candidate they feel is in the best position to win the Presidency for their party.
The way the race between Clinton and Obama has played out, it seems to me that Barrack Obama is not electable come November. The Republicans are already setting up for a campaign against Obama by linking him to the controversial Rev. Jeremiah Wright. There’s no way around the fact that Obama’s association with Rev. Wright is going to be projected as anti-American. And the hard cold facts of the matter are that it’s true. The Rev. Wright card is a card that has yet to be played to perfection and the Republicans, in my opinion, are going to hold on to that card for when or if Obama gets the democratic nomination. I can see it now! National security!
Rev. Wright’s comments are anti-America and there’s no way of getting around that. The undercurrent of Obama's association with Rev. Wright is already being felt. White male voters, who in the beginning of the race backed Obama, are now behind Clinton. My opinion is that the white vote feels that Obama is a dangerous candidate. I believe he’s a dangerous candidate. The way this guy talks about our enemies combined with his association with Rev. Wright; to me that spells danger. Then you have his wife’s comments about finally feeling good about being an American. It’ll all adds up to repressed feelings of anger towards this nation. That's not a good thing in a Presidential election.
Our history makes me mad, too. But not to the point where I think nations like Iran, and others, are people I want to talk to when they’ve made their agenda perfectly clear. That agenda is plain. They want to eliminate the State of Israel. And because Israel is our alley they want to destroy us, too. Yet, Barrack Obama insists that we need to talk to Iran?
People talk about Israel’s treatment of the Palestine. But what people don’t mention is that no matter what, Palestine doesn’t want Israel to exist. And history tells us that they’ve done enough to prove that they’re serious in their attempts to destroy Israel. That’s why Israel takes such strong measures in protecting themselves agianst Palestine. And yet Barrack Obama wants to talk to the nations that are in league with the Palestine agenda?
What does all that mean? It means that Barrack Obama can’t get the Jewish vote. No way, no how! And what it means is that he doesn’t get Christian majority vote, either. All of that is going to swing to McCain. Add in the fact that Obama couldn’t win California, New York, Texas and any of the other big states against Hillary Clinton spells serious trouble for the Democrates.
With President Bush’s approval rating at an all-time low, this year’s election was supposed to be the Democrates to lose. And if the super delegates nominate Barrack Obama at their convention, they will lose what should have been a win. The idea that Obama is out spending Clinton and can’t beat her in the big states is mind-boggling. Obama has the money, the crowds and the National Media and he can’t win a big state? That’s a serious RED FLAG! WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!
I’m not saying that Hillary Clinton can beat McCain but I know, without a doubt in my heart, that Obama can’t beat McCain. The Republicans are licking their chops at the idea of facing Obama in November.
The super delegates know all this and that why no one should be surprised if they nominate Hillary Clinton as the person who runs against McCain in November. Barrack Obama is not electable.
Again, this is on the super delegates to decide who to nominate to run against McCain. I think the decision is clear. Hillary Rodman Clinton for President!
